Transparent OLED × Cross-section Model × 3DCG
An exhibition system that makes an internal process visible
We developed an exhibition system that combines a transparent OLED display, a cross-section model of the actual machine, and 3DCG to explain a six-stage water treatment process intuitively.

PROJECT
Makino Co., Ltd.
The system was installed in Makino’s headquarters showroom. By overlaying 3DCG on a cross-section model through a transparent OLED display, it clearly communicates processes that are normally hidden inside the machine.
CHALLENGE
Visitors without specialist knowledge needed to understand several internal processes in a short time. The solution had to align digital content with the physical model while remaining easy to operate and maintain in the showroom.

- Produced 3DCG content explaining the six-stage water treatment process
- Developed the playback system for the transparent OLED display
- Developed a dedicated iPad control application
- Produced content including AI-generated narration
- Designed an operating workflow for post-delivery content updates
OUTCOME
Visitors can understand the machine structure and process by viewing the model and digital content together. The system can also support sales presentations, recruiting, factory tours, and trade shows.
